Day 1 - Arrival at Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Railway station/Airport, our driver from “North East Tours” will pick you up and drive you to the hotel. After you check in to the hotel freshen up and take some rest. In the evening, get ready for an evening ride to Brahmaputra River. You will view the sunset while cruising on the Brahmaputra River. After this amazing experience of exploring the nature, you have ample time to enjoy just the way you want. Walk its back alleys and old quarters. Sample local delicacies, and explore the surroundings dotted by ponds, palm trees, small single-storey traditional houses, and old colonial-era mansions. The City has four major shopping center i.e. Pan Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar and Uzan Bazaar where you all can stroll around the area or do shopping. Then after get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Drive to Shillong

On arrival at the Airport/ Railway Station (Guwahati), the driver from "North East Tours" will pick you up & drive you towards Shillong which is nearly 3.5 hours. En-route explore the Borapani Lake which is the largest artificial lake in the Meghalaya state. It is also called as the Umiam Lake as it is fully covered by Sylvian hills. After reaching Shillong we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Mawlynnong & Dawki

In the morning after having breakfast, we will take you to the Asia’s cleanest village Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong is famous for its cleanliness and living root bridges. We will further take you to Dawki, about 20 kilometres south of Mawlynnong. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki bridge) constructed by British in 1932. Boating is also available on Umngot River. Later, we will drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Cherrapunjee

In the morning after having breakfast we will take a short trip to the wettest place on earth known as Cherrapunjee. These place is located at a distance of 60kms. We will visit "Double Decker Living Root Bridges", "Nohkalikai Waterfalls", "Mawsmai Cave", "Mawsmai Noghthymmai Eco Park" & "Thangkharang Park" . Then after we will move back to Shillong in the evening. Enroute we will also visit Shillong Peak which gives a great sight. Later, we will get back to the hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Shillong Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast we will do a local sightseeing today. We will visit the "Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians" (cathedral church), the "Ward’s Lake", "Lady Hydari Park" and "Don Bosco Museum". Then we will visit "Elephant Fall" (referred as the Three Step Waterfall). Later we will visit the "Police Bazar" which is a bustling market area in the heart of Shillong know for its lively atmosphere, colourful shops and delicious street food. Then after we will go back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6 - Drive to Tezpur

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and drive towards "Tezpur". Upon arrival we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay. Evening is free for leisure. You can have a stroll around the local market.

Day 7 - Drive to Dirang

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards "Dirang". It is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located on the bank of river Kameng also known as "Jia Bharali" in Assam. We will spend some time at the "Yak Breeding Farm" at Dirang Valley and "Apple Orchard". We will then visit the "Kalachakra Gumpha" and "Holy Hot Spring". later, we will check into the hotel for an overstay.

Day 8 - Drive to Tawang

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from hotel and drive towards Tawang. Enroute we will visit "Baisakhi Camp" and then reach "Sela Pass". It is a high altitude mountain pass located on the border between the Tawang & West Kameng districts in the Indian state of Arunanchal Pradesh. It is a sacred site in the Tibetan Buddhism. Then after we will check into the hotel at Tawang for an overnight stay.

Day 9 - Tawang Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast we will enjoy the local sightseeing in Tawang. We will visit the Sangestar Tso, formerly called Shonga-tser Lake and popularly known as the Madhuri Lake. Then we will visit China Border & the Tawang Gompa which is definitely the high point of the town, with a commanding view of the splendid valleys beyond. Then we will visit the "War Memorial". Evening will be free for your shopping and leisure. Then after we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 - Drive to Bomdila

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from hotel & move towards "Nuranang Falls" (Jang Falls). After a lovely view of this waterfalls we will move to "Jaswant Garh War Memorial" en-route Sela Pass & reach Bomdila by evening. On arrival we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 - Drive to Kaziranga

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and leave for one of the most beautiful wildlife destination and the UNESCO world Heritage site, famous for the recorded number for One Horned Rhino in the world, "Kaziranga National Park". Upon arrival we will check into the wildlife resort. After getting freshen up we can go on a guided tour through the forest near our accommodation along the river bank. We will also visit the tea garden and rubber plantation. Later, we will get back to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 12 - Kaziranga National Park

Early morning around 5am, you will go for elephant ride and come back to resort for breakfast. Then after you will go for a jeep safari (vehicles are permitted only from 7am-4pm everyday). After lunch, visit the "Orchid Park" to observe different varieties of orchids. You can also visit "Tea Garden", "Coffee Plantation" & can also watch the "Cultural Show Of Folk Dances". In the evening, you can visit souvenir shops to purchase some momentum. Then after you will get back to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 13 - Drive to Majuli & then back to Kaziranga

In the morning after having breakfast we will drive towards "Nimati Ghat" to a ferry to "Majuli River Island" (World largest Inhabited River Island, known as the treasure of Assamese Culture).We will visit "Kamalabari Satra" (which is famous centre of art, culture, literature and classical studies). Then we will visit "Auniati Satra" (which is famous for 'Paalnaam' & 'Apsara' dances also remarkable for its extensive assortment of ancient artifacts, Assamese old utensils,jwellery and handicrafts). Later, w will drive back to Kaziranga for an overnight stay.

Day 14 - Drive to Guwahati

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati we can take you out on sightseeing of Guwahati city. The notable places to check out and enjoy in Guwahati are Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Balaji temple, Umananda (the smallest river island of the world), river cruises on the mighty River Brahmaputra and many other fantastic places. Then after we will get back to the hotel for an over night stay.

Day 15 - End of the journey

Early morning we will check out from the hotel and be ready to set off to visit the most holy temple of Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple) situated in Nilachal Hill. The temple will be opened at 8.am. Then after we will drop you off to the Railway Station/ Airport (Guwahati) for your onward journey to your home.
