Day 1 - Arrival at Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati), the driver from "Northeast Tours" will pick you up & drive you towards Kaziranga. En-route, we will stop at the view points located on the roadside where we will get to see different species of birds and animals. After reaching Kaziranga, we will check into the hotel. We can enjoy the rest of the day relaxing & in preparation for the fun and adventurous journey that lies ahead. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 2 - Kaziranga National Park

Early morning around 5 am, we will go for elephant ride and later we will come back to hotel for breakfast. Then after we will go for a jeep safari (vehicles are permitted only from 7am-4 pm everyday). Then after lunch, we will visit the "Orchid Park" to observe different varieties of orchids. We will also visit "Tea Garden", "Coffee Plantation" & also watch the "Cultural Show Of Folk Dances". In the evening, we can visit souvenir shops to purchase some momentum. Then after we will get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 - Drive to Bomdila

In the morning, after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Bomdila. We will travel from the green field of Assam to lush green mountains of Arunachal Pradesh. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel and get freshen up and take some rest. In the evening, we will visit "The Garden Rabgye Ling Monastery" and then "The Thubchog Gatsel". Later we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Drive to Tawang

In the morning after having breakfast, we will take the mesmerizing road journey to reach Tawang. On the way we will witness the snow capped "Sella Pass" at 14000 ft and the "Jaswant Garh War Memorial". Upon arrival we will check into the hotel. Evening is free for your leisure, you all can stroll around. Later, we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Tawang Local Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast, we will get ready for the local sightseeing in Tawang. We will visit "Urgelling Gompa" (6th Dalai Lama’s birth place". Then we will proceed to the "War Memorial". Then we will visit the craft center in Tawang that sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber. Later we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay. Evening at leisure.

Day 6 - High Altitude Lakes and Bumla Pass

In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive to a high altitude lake called as "Shonga-tser Lake", popularly known as Madhuri Lake. Then we will drive to "Sangetsar Lake", nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surroundings. We can enjoy some Maggie and Momos in this area while watching war bunkers around. Then we will drive further to "Bumla Pass" which is located about 37 km away from Tawang. While returning, we will take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake enroute. Later, we will get back to the hotel in Tawang for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Drive to Dirang

In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive towards Dirang. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel. After getting freshen up we will visit "Apple & Kiwi" farms (depending upon the season). Then we will visit the "Dirang Monastery" and "Kalachakra Monastery". Later we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Dirang Sightseeing & Transfer to Bhalukpong

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Bhalukpong. En-route we will visit "Tipi" on the banks of the river Bharali at an elevation of 190 mtrs having an orchidarium with over 500 orchids. Then on the way towards Bhalukpong, we will have a stop at "Nag Temple." Then we will continue the drive towards Bhalukpong. Upon arrival we will check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9 - Drive to Guwahati

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel. After that you can freshen up and take some rest. Later, we will come out & visit "Kalakshetra", the place where we can check out light and sound performance showing the Assamese history and culture. Later, we will go for a dinner cruise -The Alfresco Grand or Sunset Cruise (As per client Choice on direct payment basis). Dinner Cruise- Crews will welcome us with a welcome drink followed by a brief video presentation on the Great Battle of Saraighat – fought between the Mughal & the Ahom Rulers, traditional dances of Assam & North East like Bihu dance & Live Band music show with final closing with a lovely Dinner on board at Cruise. Then after we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 - End of the journey

Guwahati Hotel → Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

This morning we will wake up a little early to visit the famous "Maa Kamakhya Devi Temple" (one of the 51 Shakti Peeths in the country which is situated on the Nilachal Hill in the western part of Guwahati). The temple will open at 8 Am. After your temple visit, we will get back to the hotel for breakfast & then we will checkout from the hotel then the driver will drop you at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati), for your onward journey to your home.
