Day 1 - Arrival at Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Airport/Railway Station (Guwahati), the driver from "Northeast Tours" will pick you up and drive you towards Manas. "Manas national park"- is a biosphere reserve. an elephant sanctuary, a project tiger reserve and a UNESCO world heritage site. It is known for its rare endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog. Upon arrival at Manas we will check into the cottage. In the evening we can enjoy the vicinity around our accommodation or have pleasant walk around the place. Later we will get back to the cottage for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Manas National Park

Early morning around 6am we will get ready and come out of the cottage to explore the pristine beauty and wilderness of the jungle on an elephant ride for 1 hour (timings:- 6am-7am and then 7am-8am) in the Bansbari Zone range of the park. Then we will get back to the cottage for breakfast and then in the afternoon we will go for a jeep safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park Mathanguri. Later we will get back to the cottage for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Drive to Guwahati

In the morning, after having breakfast we will check out from the cottage and drive towards Guwahati. Upon arrival we will check check into the hotel. After getting freshen up we will visit the famous Kamakhya Devi temple, later in the afternoon we will enjoy a motor cruise on river Brahmaputra to get the beautiful glimpse of sunset. Later, we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Drive to Orang National Park

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards "Orang National Park". It is the oldest national park of Assam with an area of 78.80 Sq Kms that is situated within the northern bank of river Brahmaputra. It is famous for the breeding ground of varieties of fishes as more than 50 species of fish have been recorded here. Other than fish seven species of turtles are also found here in the river and streams flowing through park. Upon arrival we will check into the wildlife guest house. After lunch we will enjoy our very first jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Later, we will get back to the guest house for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Orang National Park

Morning we will wake a little early. After morning tea we will be ready to enjoy our safari to the national park. Safari will go through amidst the dense forests with tall trees and high grasslands. Later, we will return to the guest house for breakfast. After breakfast we will again visit the national park, this time we will go for the vehicle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Orang National Park is mainly famous for the one horned rhinoceros. Apart from Rhino the other wildlife found are Royal Bengal Tiger, Asiatic elephant, hog deer and wild boar. Orang National park also famous for the many of the endangered species Like Pygmy Hog, the Gangetic Dolphin, Indian Pangolin, Hog Deer, Rhesus Macaque, Bengal Porcupine, Indian Fox, Small Indian Civet, Otter, Leopard cat, Fishing cat and Jungle Cat etc. Apart from mammals, 222 species of birds have been recorded in Orang including a variety of migratory birds. Later we will get back to the guest house for an overnight stay.

Day 6 - Drive to Nameri National Park

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the guest house and drive to "Nameri National Park" which is situated just 100 kms along-side to Orang within the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. On the way to Nameri we will stop at Tezpur to visit its historical ruins. Then we will drive to Nameri. Upon arrival we will check into the Eco-Camp. Evening is free for leisure or we can make a visit to the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation and learn about the species. The Pygmy Hogs are one of the world's most endangered mammals. These Pygmy Hogs are kept in captive breeding in Guwahati and now they are kept in semi-natural conditions of Nameri before being set free into the park. Later, we will get back to the Eco-Camp for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Nameri National Park

In the morning after having breakfast, we will go on a fascinating river rafting on "Jia Bhoroli River". For the same we will drive 25 kms from the camp towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl and if we are lucky then we can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. The 13 km stretch of rafting will take around three hours. After the river rafting we will return to the camp site for Lunch. After lunch we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here we will be accompanied with a knowledgeable forest guides and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows us to get very close to the wildlife life. Here one can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbills. Later, we will get back to the camp for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Drive to Kaziranga

In the morning after having breakfast, we will leave for one of the most beautiful wildlife destination and the UNESCO world Heritage site, famous for the recorded number for One Horned Rhino in the world, "Kaziranga National Park". Upon arrival we will check into the wildlife resort. After getting freshen up we can go on a guided tour through the forest near our accommodation along the river bank. We will also visit the tea garden and rubber plantation. Later, we will get back to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 9 - Kaziranga National Park

Early morning around 5am, you will go for elephant ride and come back to hotel for breakfast. Then after you will go for a jeep safari (vehicles are permitted only from 7am-4pm everyday). After lunch, visit the "Orchid Park" to observe different varieties of orchids. You can also visit "Tea Garden", "Coffee Plantation" & can also watch the "Cultural Show Of Folk Dances". In the evening, you can visit souvenir shops to purchase some momentum. Then after you will get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 - Drive to Pobitora National Park

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the resort and leave for our next wildlife destination "Pobitora National Park". Pobitora is situated very close to Guwahati about 50 kms from the capital of Assam. The swampy marshland of Pobitora is home to mammals like one horned Rhino, semi-wild buffalo, wild boar and jackal. The park is protected by the local people and its neighbor's villagers as a grazing land for their cattle, therefore Rhinos and cattle have co-existed here. The diversity of Pobitora is also an ideal place for bird life. During winter a number of various kinds of bird species can be sighted here. Upon arrival we will check into the wildlife resort. After lunch, we will go on jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Later, we will get back to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 11 - Drive to Dipor Bil & then Guwahati

Morning we will wake up little early and then go for an Elephant safari in Pobitora for wildlife viewing. Later, we will return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast we will check out from the resort and drive towards "Dipor Bil" for some exciting bird watching and boating. It is located just 10 km from Guwahati. It is a permanent freshwater lake, in a former channel of the Brahmaputra River. It is very important site for avian fauna and during winter time a lots of migratory bird species make it their favoured home. After our bird watching in Dipor Bil we will drive towards Guwahati. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12 - End of the journey

Early morning we will check out from the hotel and be ready to set off to visit the most holy temple of Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple) situated in Nilachal Hill. The temple will be opened at 8.am. Then after we will we will drop you off to the Railway Station/ Airport (Guwahati) for your onward journey to your home.
