Day 1 - Arrival At Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Airport/Railway Station (Guwahati), the driver from “North East Tours” will pick you up & drive you towards Kaziranga. En-route we will visit "Maha MrityunjayTemple" (World's Tallest Shivlalinga at the height of 126 foot) situated in Nagaon, Assam. After that we will continue towards Kaziranga. On arrival we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Kaziranga National Park

Early morning around 5am, you will go for elephant ride and come back to hotel for breakfast. Then after you will go for a jeep safari (vehicles are permitted only from 7am-4pm everyday). After lunch, visit the "Orchid Park" to observe different varieties of orchids. You can also visit "Tea Garden", "Coffee Plantation" & can also watch the "Cultural Show Of Folk Dances". Later we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Kaziranga -Shillong

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Shillong, which is famous for its clean steep streets, beautiful lakes, parks and of course the breathtaking waterfalls. En-route we have a stop & enjoy the view of the beautiful "Umiam Lake". It is a tranquil lake at the entrance of Shillong town, a place where we can go for watery adventures and relaxing boat rides. On arrival we will check into the hotel at Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Mawlynnong & Dawki

In the morning after having breakfast we will get ready and move towards "Mawlynnong Village", which has been awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We will visit the Balancing Rock and the "Living Root Bridge" (Centuries old bridges grown from tangled roots). Later we will proceed to see the crystal clear waters of "Dawki River" and enjoy the boating over there. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki Bridge) constructed by British in 1932. We will also visit India-Bangladesh border at "Tamabil". Later, we will move back to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Cherrapunjee

In the morning after having breakfast we will drive towards visiting Cherrapunjee (officially known as Sohra). It is the wettest place on the earth. We will visit Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai fall (the tallest plunge waterfall in India). Then after we will drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 6 - Shillong - Guwahati

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. On arrival we will have a visit to the "Science Museum", then to the "Srimanta Kalakhetra" and then the Local Fancy Bazaar Market for shopping. Later, we will check into the hotel at Guwahati for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Guwahati Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast, we will have a local sightseeing of the Guwahati City. We will visit Umananda (Smallest River Island). We will also enjoy a ride in the longest river ropeway over the Brahmaputra where we will get a panoramic view of Umananda Temple, Peacock Island, the Brahmaputra River and the surrounding hills. Later, we will go for a dinner cruise -The Alfresco Grand or Sunset Cruise (As per client Choice on direct payment basis). Dinner Cruise- Crews will welcome us with a welcome drink followed by a brief video presentation on the Great Battle of Saraighat – fought between the Mughal & the Ahom Rulers, traditional dances of Assam & North East like Bihu dance & Live Band music show with final closing with a lovely Dinner on board at Cruise. Then after we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Guwahati – Departure

Early morning we will check out from the hotel and be ready to set off to visit the most holy temple of Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple) situated in Nilachal Hill. The temple will be opened at 8.am. Then after we will we will drop you off to the Railway Station/ Airport (Guwahati) for your onward journey to your home.
