Day 1 - Arrival Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Railway station/Airport, our driver from “North East Tours” will pick you up and drive you to the hotel. After you check in to the hotel freshen up and take some rest. In the evening, get ready for an evening ride to Brahmaputra River. You will enjoy the sunset while cruising on the Brahmaputra River. After this amazing experience of exploring the nature, you have ample time to enjoy just the way you want. Walk its back alleys and old quarters. Sample local delicacies, and explore the surroundings dotted by ponds, palm trees, small traditional houses, and old colonial-era mansions. The City has four major shopping center which is Pan Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar and Uzan Bazaar where you all can stroll around the area or do shopping. Then after get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Guwahati Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast, we will get ready to set off to visit the most holy temple of Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple) situated in Nilachal Hill. The temple will open at 8.am. Then after we will visit other temples like the Navagraha Temple , Umananda Temple, and Balaji Temple. After a blissful day at various temples to the city, we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Pobitora National Park

In the morning after having breakfast we will leave for Pobitora National Park. It is situated about 50kms from Guwahati. The swampy marshland of Pobitora is home to mammals like One Horned Rhino, Semi-Wild Buffalo, Wild Boar and Jackal. The park is protected by the local people and its neighbor villagers as a grazing land for their cattle therefore Rhinos and cattle have co-existed here. The diversity of Pobitora is also an ideal place for bird life. During winter a number of various kinds of bird species can be sighted here. Upon arrival at Pobitora National Park we will transfer to the wildlife resort. After lunch, we will go on jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Then after we will get back to the resort in Pobitora for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Pobitora, Deepor Beel & then Guwahati

We will wake up early in the morning and then go for an Elephant Safari. Later we will return to the resort for breakfast. After having breakfast we will check out from the resort and leave for Deepor Beel to get a look of rare birds and do boating. It is located just 10kms from Guwahati. It is a permanent freshwater lake, in a former channel of the Brahmaputra River, to the south of the main river. It is an important bird sanctuary inhabiting many migrant species. Then after we will move to Guwahati for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - End of the journey

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and the driver will drop you at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati) for your onward journey to your home.
