Day 1 - Arrival At Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

Upon arrival, our driver from “North East Tours” will pick you up and take you to visit the famous "Maa Kamakhya Devi Temple" (one of the 51 Shakti Peeths in the country which is situated on the Nilachal Hill in the western part of Guwahati). After your temple visit, you will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Drive to Kaziranga

In the morning after having breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and move towards Kaziranga, which is inhabited by the largest population of one-horned rhinoceros. This Park is a World Heritage Site located on the banks of Brahmaputra River. After reaching check-in to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 - Kaziranga Sightseeing

Early morning around 5 am, you will go for elephant ride and come back to hotel for breakfast. Then after you will go for a jeep safari (vehicles are permitted only from 7 am-4 pm everyday). After lunch, visit the "Orchid Park" to observe different varieties of orchids. You can also visit "Tea Garden", "Coffee Plantation" & can also watch the "Cultural Show Of Folk Dances". In the evening, you can visit souvenir shops to purchase some momentum. Then after you will get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 - Kaziranga to Majuli

In the morning after having breakfast you will check out from the hotel and move to Majuli (the world's largest river island). After reaching there, you will have to cross the "Brahmaputra River" by ferry (avoid travelling during moonsoon season as the ferries to Majuli stops operating when it rains heavily and when the river gets flooded). Then after check-in to the traditional cottage. During the afternoon, visit the Majuli village. In the evening, visit the sand beach in the Brahmaputra and take the magnificent view of the sunset. After having dinner get back to the pre-booked cottage for overnight stay

Day 5 - Majuli Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast, get ready for a local tour of Majuli. Visit the famous satra's there. Like, Kamalabari Satra (founded by Bedulapadma Ata), which is famous for articles related to culture, art, literature and classical studies. Then visit Garamur Satra (one of the four major royal Satras of Majuli Island). Auniati Satra (it was established where there was full of Auni Paan). Dakhinpat (it is well-renowed and principle monastic Satra). Then after get back to the cottage for overnight stay.

Day 6 - Journey from Majuli To Kohima

After breakfast, get ready for an early morning drive from Majuli to Kohima. Enroute, visit Dimapur. After a healthy breakfast, head for your onward journey to Kohima. Upon arrival, proceed to Touphema Village Resort. Here you can enjoy the cultural presentations given by the local village people. After this enjoy an overnight stay at Touphema Tourist village in Kohima.

Day 7 - Local tour of Kohima

In the morning after having breakfast, you will visit the World War II Cemetery (it is dedicated to soilders of the 2nd British Division of the Allied Forces who died in the Second Worl War at Kohima. Then visit Naga Heritage Village, Catholic Church & Nagaland State Museum. Then after get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Kohima to Khonoma Green Village

In the morning after having breakfast, you will proceed for your next journey from Kohima to Khonoma village. Upon arrival, enjoy the whole day exploring the village, which is famous for its forests and a unique form of agriculture, including some of the oldest terraced cultivation in the region. The village offers visitors an opportunity to explore the rich Naga culture and traditions. Vistors can also explore the ancient monuments, handicrafts and terraced fields that showcase the unique Naga way of life. Then after get back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Khonoma.

Day 9 - Journey from Khonoma To Guwahati

In the morning after having breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed for your next journey towards Guwahati. It would be a 9-hour journey. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 - Explore Guwahati

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and go for local sightseeing in Guwahati. We will visit Umananda Devaloi, botanical garden in Guwahati. Post your sightseeing, the driver will drop you to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
