Day 1 - Arrival at Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati), the driver from "Northeast Tours" will pick you up and transfer you to a pre-booked hotel in Guwahati. After that you can freshen up and take some rest. Later, we will come out & visit "Kalakshetra", the place where we can check out light and sound performance showing the Assamese history and culture. Later, we will go for a dinner cruise -The Alfresco Grand or Sunset Cruise (As per client Choice on direct payment basis). Dinner Cruise- Crews will welcome us with a welcome drink followed by a brief video presentation on the Great Battle of Saraighat – fought between the Mughal & the Ahom Rulers, traditional dances of Assam & North East like Bihu dance & Live Band music show with final closing with a lovely Dinner on board at Cruise. Then after we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Visit to Kamakhya Temple & then drive to Nameri

This morning we will wake up a little early and check out from the hotel to visit the most holy temple of Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple). The temple will be opened at 8.am. After that we will drive towards Nameri National Park (it is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India. Nameri shares its northern boundary with the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh. Together they constitute an area of over 1000 square kilometers of which Nameri has a total area of 200 square kilometers - It was earlier known as Pragjyotishpura (the Light of the East). On arrival we will check into the hotel. Evening is free for leisure to stroll around the area. Later, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Drive to Dirang

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Dirang. After having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel & then travel to Dirang (it is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh). It is located on the bank of river Kameng also known as Jia Bharali in Assam. On arrival we will spend some time at the Yak breeding farm at Dirang Valley and Apple Orchard. Then we will visit the Kalachakra Gumpha and Holy Hot Spring. Then we will visit the Dirang market which is a good place to spend an evening to buy local artifacts. Later, we will check into the hotel at Dirang for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Drive to Tawang

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Tawang. On the way we will stop and visit the snowcapped Sella Pass which is at 14000 feet, that runs through a small ridge and along a placid lake called the Paradise Lake, and Trout hatchery at Nuranang just below the pass before entering the land of Lamaist Buddhist Monastaery. Then we will visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial (the Legend has it that Jaswant - Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles, fought alone battle against the Invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place). Later, we will check into the hotel at Tawang for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Tawang Sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast, we will get ready for the local sightseeing in Tawang. First we will visit The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “Galden Namgyal Lhatse” Monastery which is one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sects in Asia. The birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, the Monastery is 400 years old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. Then we will visit ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 meters offers guests unparalleled purity of nature and view. Then we will visit the monastery and the War Memorial. Then we will visit the Beautiful lakes around Tawang which are Teng Tso (P T Tso) lake nearly 17 kms away from maddening crowd of township. It is a beautiful natural site & the others are Sangester lake & Banga Jang lake. Later, we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6 - Drive To Bomdila

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from hotel & move towards "Nuranang Falls" (Jang Falls). After a lovely view of this waterfalls we will move to "Jaswant Garh War Memorial" enroute Sela Pass & reach Bomdila by evening. On arrival we will check into the hotel at Bomdila for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Drive to Tezpur

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Tezpur. En-route we will visit the Orchid Center at Tipi (houses over 7500 orchids). On display are some of the finest species like the Dainty Lady’s Slipper or Dendrobium. Then we will continue to drive towards Tezpur (also known as, "The City Of Blood"). Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel. After getting freshen up we will do the local sightseeing tour of Tezpur. Tezpur is a place steeped in mythology, legend and folklore that is situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this is a town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. Later, we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - End of the journey

Tezpur Hotel → Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. On arrival the driver will drop you at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati) for your onward journey to your home.
