Day 1 - Arrival at Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati), the driver from "North East Tours" will pick you up and drive you towards "Tezpur" (also known as, "The City Of Blood"). Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel. After getting freshen up we will do the local sightseeing tour of Tezpur. Tezpur is a place steeped in mythology, legend and folklore that is situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this is a town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. Later, we will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 1 - Arrival at Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati)

On arrival at the Railway Station/Airport (Guwahati), the driver from "Northeast Tours" will pick you up and drive you towards "Shillong" also known as the "Scotland of East". En-route we will have a stop at Umiam Lake. Here we can enjoy watery adventures and relaxing boat rides. We will also get to see beautiful birds & enjoy the dramatic scenery. Later, we will continue our drive to Shillong. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Visit to Dawki & Mawlynnong

In the morning after having breakfast, we will get ready & drive towards "Dawki". The river has a lot of activities to offer. The most famous one is boating. There are other adventurous activities such as kayaking, cliff jumping, snorkeling and zip lining. Then we will proceed to the Mawlynnong village, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village is known for its cleanliness and is a community based eco-tourism initiative. The community has made collective effort to maintain the ambience of a clean village. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighboring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Later, we will drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay at the same hotel.

Day 3 - Drive to Cherrapunji

In the morning after having breakfast, we will get ready and drive towards "Cherrapunji"(also known as Sohra or Churra, means the land of oranges). It is the wettest place on the Earth. Upon arrival we will visit Arwah Cave, then we will visit Nohkalikai Falls, then we will visit Mawsmai Cave, then we will visit Seven Sister Falls, then we will visit Dainthlen Waterfalls, then we will visit Eco Park and lastly we will visit Wei Sawdong Waterfalls. After all the sightseeing in Cherrapunji we will drive back to Shillong, en-route we will visit Elephant Falls. Upon arrival we will get back to the same hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Drive to Kaziranga

In the morning after having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Kaziranga. It is a UNESCO world heritage sites of India and known for Great Indian one horned Rhinoceros. En-route, we will stop at the view points located on the roadside where we will get to see different species of birds and animals. Upon arrival we will check in to a resort for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Kaziranga National Park

Early morning around 5am, we will go for elephant ride and come back to hotel for breakfast. Then after we will go for a jeep safari (vehicles are permitted only from 7am-4pm everyday). After lunch, we will visit the "Orchid Park" to observe different varieties of orchids. We can also visit "Tea Garden", "Coffee Plantation" & can also watch the "Cultural Show Of Folk Dances". In the evening, we can visit souvenir shops to purchase some momentum. Then after we will get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6 - Drive to Guwahati

In the morning after having breakfast we will check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati we can take you out on sightseeing of Guwahati city. The notable places to check out and enjoy in Guwahati are Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Balaji temple, Umanada (the smallest river island of the world), river cruises on the mighty River Brahmaputra and many other fantastic places. Then after we will get back to the hotel for an over night stay.

Day 7 - End of the journey

Early morning we will check out from the hotel and be ready to set off to visit the most holy temple of Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple) situated in Nilachal Hill. The temple will be opened at 8.am. Then after we will we will drop you off to the Railway Station/ Airport (Guwahati) for your onward journey to your home.
